Served as a research scientist at Meta Platforms,Inc. from 2020 to 2023, research on machine learning techniques for applications in large recommendation systems.

Has been a visiting scholar to research institutes and universities including Mayo Clinic, WVU and UThealth etc. in the past two years, research on principled machine learning algorithms with their applications in brain-computer interfaces and medical informatics.
