Philip Murray obtained his PhD in Mathematics from Oxford University in 2009. His post-doctoral work was also in Oxford and examined mathematical models of biological oscillators. In 2012 he took up a permanent position at the University of Dundee. He works on biologically-motivated modelling problems and is a mathematics lecturer.
